To Add a Product – New Finished Goods

Tip: If you are setting up a product that is very similar to another product already in the system, a very quick way to do this is to Clone the other product – see notes on “How to Clone a Product”.

  • In Unleashed, click on Shortcut/Add Product (or on the left sidebar click Inventory/Products/Add Product):

Screen Clipping
  • Complete the fields as follows:

  • Give the product a code – try to be consistent with other products in the system. You may need to get a code off Flynnie

  • Enter a Description of the product (this will show on the customer invoice)

  • Product Group = FP (and select the range)

  • Sales Account = Select the correct range from the Xero COA – this must be selected. The default sales account will appear in Xero under “Sales – Unleashed” and will need recoding, so please don’t leave the default

  • Cost of Goods Sold Account = Default Cost of Goods Sold account
